I’m the proud pawrent of a multi-sport spaniel squad! I have a small, chaotic pack of spanners who will try anything once, with varying degrees of success, before moving on in search of the next thrill. I love their give-it-a-go attitude.

I have always enjoyed running for fitness, leisure and wellbeing. Adding a dog into the mix and joining Wessex Canicross has made running sociable and even more fun. My vizsla Otis

Running with a dog was a revelation: I felt like a kid again, discovering something new and exciting! Canicross makes running so much more fun. I love it, and so do my dogs! We've shared some great times together, and plan many more.

I got into canicross after bringing home Maggie, my high-energy working Sprocker, who quickly made it clear that ordinary walks wouldn’t cut it! As a triathlete, it felt natural to channel that energy into something we could do together.

I started canicross five years ago and instantly fell in love with it! It has been a fantastic way to strengthen the bond between me and my dog. We now compete in exciting events that include swimming, biking, and, of course, canicrossing.

I had wanted to try canicross since I started running, so when I moved to the southwest and got a pup who loved running, I gave it a go and became hooked. I love the bond it gives me with my sheltie, Taco, and the trails we share.

I travelled quite a bit for work, so owning a dog wasn’t really an option. But I didn’t let this hold me back – I became a dog borrower! This led me to canicross, which has given my running pal, Lola the Lab, and me some fantastic adventures!
